Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro)
Crenshaw/LAX Line

Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) Crenshaw/LAX Line will extend from the existing Metro Exposition Line at Crenshaw and Exposition Boulevards and travel 8.5 miles to the Metro Green Line. The light rail line will serve the cities of Los Angeles, Inglewood and El Segundo, and portions of unincorporated Los Angeles County. Riders will be able to make easy connections with in the entire Metro Rail system, municipal bus lines and other regional transportation services. GlobalASR is currently providing environmental compliance services to the Crenshaw/LAX project in the following  scopes of work: 

  • Construction Storm Water Pollution  Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance inspections and review of submittals

  • Review of environmental submittals for compliance to project specifications

  • Construction noise and vibration monitoring

  • Oversight of hazardous building materials abatement such as PCB-containing ballasts and caulking, Treated Wood Waste (TWW), Lead-Based Paint (LBP) and Asbestos-Containing Construction Materials (ACM/ACCM) 

  • Dewatering and industrial waste water management oversight

  • Environmental permit compliance report review 

  • Environmental Management System (EMS) implementation per ISO14001:2015 

  • Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Plan(MMRP) reporting support

  • Regulatory agency coordination and reporting 

  • Close-out of various environmental related permits
