Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) Crenshaw/LAX Line has been renamed as K Line since its opening to passenger service in October 2022. Currently, K Line extends from the existing Metro Exposition Line (ELine) at Crenshaw and Exposition Boulevards to the Westchester/Veterans Station in Inglewood. In the future K Line will extend to the Metro Green Line (CLine). The K Line is currently serving the cities of Los Angeles and Inglewood; El Segundo and portions of unincorporated Los Angeles County will be served when fully connected to C Line. In addition to the alternative transportation option to congested roadways, the project also provided significant environmental benefits, economic development and employment opportunities throughout Los Angeles County. The Crenshaw/LAX Project is one of 12 transit projects funded by Measure R, the half cent sales tax approved by Los Angeles County voters in 2008. Additional project information is available on the Metro website: Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project - LA Metro
