East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Transit

The East San Fernando Valley Light Rail transit project will have 14 new stations between the G Line (Orange) Van Nuys Station and the Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station. This system for the San Fernando Valley means better transit with improved quality and service along Van Nuys Blvd. Advance utility relocation work has started in early 2023 and the main project construction will start in late 2023/early 2024.

Global ASR is currently providing environmental compliance services to East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Transit project with the following scopes of work:

  • Project support during public town hall meetings

  • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance

  • Review of environmental submittals for compliance to project specifications and regulatory requirements

  • Development of content and delivery of Environmental Awareness Training for contractors’ construction personnel on topics that include:

    • SWPPP compliance

    • Fugitive dust

    • Archaeological/Paleontological resources

    • Construction noise and vibration
