Blue Line Refurbishment
The Blue Line is Metro’s oldest light rail line that has been operating since 1990. Metro began significant improvements on the Blue Line in 2019. Metro invested $350 million to enhance safety, increase reliability and improve the customer experience in the New Blue Line which is now known as the A line.
Global ASR provided environmental compliance services to New Blue Line project with the following scopes of work:
* Review of environmental submittals for compliance to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Construction noise and vibration monitoring to comply with project specific and local jurisdictional requirements
* Development and delivery of Environmental Awareness Training for contractors' personnel on construction noise and vibration
